The next evolution of eFed Management Suite has officially begun.
Today, we are proud to release eMS Version 2.10.0, the first chapter in what is planned to become a four-part expansion series throughout the 2.10 update cycle. Rather than focusing on a single standalone feature, Version 2.10.0 lays the groundwork for the future of eMS by introducing major improvements to flexibility, customization, permissions, and long-term system scalability.
This release is all about giving fed owners more control over how their communities operate while preparing the platform for the next generation of modular expansion systems.
The centerpiece of Version 2.10.0 is the beginning of the long-awaited Permission Management Overhaul.
Historically, eMS permissions have primarily been tied directly to user groups. While effective for smaller communities, larger federations and more specialized staff structures often needed more granular control.
Version 2.10.0 introduces the foundation for a far more flexible permission architecture, including:
This is only Phase 1 of a planned multi-version rollout. Future updates in the 2.10 series will continue converting more admin pages, workflows, and systems into the new granular permission structure.
Examples of new permission types include:
news.createevents.publishapplications.reviewpromos.feedbackalignments.manageattributes.manageThe goal is simple: allow fed owners to shape staff roles and responsibilities exactly how they want.
Version 2.10.0 also replaces older hardcoded alignment assumptions with a fully dynamic alignment system.
Federations are no longer restricted to traditional Face / Heel / Tweener structures. Admins can now create unlimited custom alignments, including:
The new Alignment Manager supports:
Applications, character creation, and character editing systems now dynamically pull alignment options directly from the database.
One of the biggest additions in 2.10.0 is the all-new Character Attribute Point System.
Unlike traditional static rating systems, eMS now uses a point allocation model where characters spend points across configurable attributes such as:
Admins can fully configure attribute definitions, ranges, visibility, and handler edit permissions.
Characters now operate using:
This creates a far more flexible system for future expansion, including potential integrations with achievements, rankings, AI-assisted writing systems, and additional progression mechanics planned later in the 2.10 roadmap.
Handlers can now edit approved character attributes directly from the dashboard when allowed by the administrator.
The system supports:
Admins remain in complete control of total available points.
Version 2.10.0 introduces optional helper functions for displaying:
Because eMS supports heavily customized public templates, existing public bio pages are not automatically overwritten during updates. Instead, helper functions are now available for fed owners who want to integrate the new systems into their custom layouts.
The admin sidebar has also received organizational improvements designed around real-world workflows.
The new structure prioritizes:
Combined with the new permission-aware visibility structure, the admin experience is cleaner and more scalable than ever before.
Version 2.10.0 is only the start.
The 2.10 update cycle is planned as a multi-release expansion focused on long-term flexibility and scalability across the eMS ecosystem. Future phases are expected to continue expanding:
More information about upcoming phases will be shared as development continues.
eFed Management Suite Version 2.10.0 is now available through the eMS Update Center.
Thank you to everyone continuing to support the growth of eMS and helping shape the future of fantasy wrestling management.
